How do GENOME iOS purchases and subscriptions work?

GENOME iOS uses Apple’s in-app purchase (IAP) system. All purchases and subscriptions are processed through your Apple ID and managed via the App Store.

One-time purchases

The following IAPs are available as one-time purchases:

  • GENOME iOS
  • GENOME Suite iOS
  • Component Packs (e.g. FairTone packs)
  • Access Passes

These are non-consumable purchases, meaning:

  • You pay once
  • The purchase is permanently tied to your Apple ID
  • It can be restored on the same Apple account

Subscriptions in GENOME iOS

The following GENOME iOS versions are available as subscriptions:

  • GENOME iOS
  • GENOME Suite iOS

Subscriptions provide access to the selected GENOME version for the duration of your plan (e.g. monthly or yearly). Subscriptions:

  • Renew automatically unless cancelled
  • Can be upgraded, downgraded or cancelled at any time
  • Are managed through your Apple ID

How purchases are linked

GENOME iOS purchases are:

  • Linked to your Apple ID
  • Synced with your Two notes account when logged in

This allows your purchases and subscriptions to be recognised within the app.

Managing Subscriptions

Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple ID Settings; to manage your GENOME iOS or GENOME Suite iOS Subscription

  • Open Settings on your iPad
  • Go to Apple ID → Subscriptions

From here you can

  • Cancel your subscription
  • View billing details

Subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.

Using GENOME across Desktop and iOS

GENOME Desktop and GENOME iOS are separate platforms. A GENOME iOS subscription does not include a Desktop license and Desktop purchases do not automatically transfer to iOS.
To use GENOME across both platforms, you will need:

  • A valid license or subscription on each platform
  • An Access Pass to enable cross-platform use
