What is an Access Pass and do I need one?

An Access Pass enables you to use your purchased Components and GENOME variant (i.e. GENOME Suite or GENOME) across both GENOME Desktop and GENOME iOS. By default, Components and the licensed GENOME variant are tied to the platform they were purchased on. An Access Pass unlocks cross-platform access, so your gear is available wherever you use GENOME.

How Does an Access Pass Work?

When you purchase Components (such as DynIR™ cabinets, TSM-Ai Amplifiers, Pedals or other add-ons), or purchase GENOME or GENOME Suite, all related Components are linked to the platform where the purchase was made. An Access Pass allows you to:

  • Use your existing Components and GENOME variant on both desktop and iOS
  • Access future purchases across both platforms
  • Keep your GENOME setup consistent, regardless of where you’re working

Do I need an Access Pass?

You only need an Access Pass if you want to use GENOME across both Desktop and iOS.
You do not need an Access Pass if:

  • You only use GENOME on one platform
  • You do not need your purchases to carry across devices

What happens without an Access Pass?

Without an Access Pass:

  • Components remain tied to the platform they were purchased on
  • You will not be able to use those Components on another platform

Does an Access Pass Include GENOME Licenses?

No. An Access Pass does not include a GENOME Desktop or GENOME iOS license and must be purchased in addition to a GENOME license for cross-platform compatibility.

How Do I Get an Access Pass?

  • For an iOS access pass (for desktop users looking to use their GENOME variant and related Component Arsenal on iOS) you can purchase an Access Pass directly from the Two notes website here.
  • For a Desktop Access Pass (for iOS users looking to use their GENOME variant and related Component Arsenal on Desktop), an access pass can be purchased via an in-app purchase within the GENOME Application’s “My GENOME” page, accessed via the hamburger menu.
