Before proceeding with an uninstall of GENOME and its related files on your system, first please ensure you have correctly updated your Two notes account licence. Full guidelines on refreshing your Two notes account license can be viewed here: https://helpdesk.two-notes.com/portal/en/kb/articles/renewing-your-licence-to-retrieve-new-components-or-dynirs
If after renewing your license, you still encounter issues with missing Components, please proceed with an uninstall and reinstall of GENOME using the guidelines below.
The GENOME Uninstall Tool:
Once the process is complete, GENOME and all associated files will be removed from your system.
On Windows systems with User Account Control (UAC) enabled, administrator permissions may be required to remove certain system files. If the uninstall cannot complete, close the tool, then right-click the executable and select “Run as administrator”.
After performing a clean GENOME installation, all user presets and bank configurations are preserved. No reconfiguration is required, and existing sessions will load as expected.
Following the first launch, DynIR Virtual Cabinets associated with your Two notes license are restored automatically. If not all cabinets are immediately visible in the DynIR component block, this behavior is normal.
The time required for the cabinets to be fully re-downloaded depends on the total number of cabinets and the speed of the internet connection. As a reference, restoring approximately 600 cabinets takes around 3–4 minutes on a standard fibre internet connection.
The restoration progress can be monitored directly within DynIR Component; in the cabinet panel, next to the search field, the cabinet count will progressively increase as the cabinets are downloaded and made available locally.
