What to do in the Event of an Upgrade Failure of Wall of Sound 4.4 on ProTools (Windows)?

If "The installation cannot be completed. Please check that you have quit your DAW." message appears during Wall of Sound update for ProTools, please follow these steps: 
  1. Ensure that ProTools is not running
  2. Delete the "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Torpedo Wall Of Sound (x64).aaxplugin" folder
  3. Retry an install of Wall of Sound 4.4.0 (WoS 4.4.0 AAX 64bit, WoS 4.4.0 AAX 32bit)
