What are the differences between the C.A.B. M and the C.A.B.?

The Torpedo C.A.B. M is the new version of the Torpedo C.A.B. What's the same and what's different between those two pedals? Read on to find out!

What are the Differences From the Perspective the C.A.B. M?

  1. It can be controlled by Bluetooth via a tablet or smartphone
  2. It has an XLR output as well as a 1/4-inch TRS jack output.
  3. It works with an amp (after the amplification part and before the cabinet part, for combo amps and heads with cabinets).
    1. Note: IT IS NOT A LOADBOX, it has to be connected to a cabinet through the SPEAKER OUT port
  4. It has a memory card reader for storage expansion of 3rd party IRs (a 256MB micro SD card is included)
  5. It has an auxiliary input 
  6. It features enhanced and more powerful processing 
  7. It allows the use of high resolution IRs up to 200ms (the original C.A.B allows up to 40ms)
  8. It has an OLED screen for better graphics and a smoother navigation
  9. It features a more compact footprint than the C.A.B. - 96 x 121 x 63 (mm) for the C.A.B. M and 178 x 127.8 x 58.3 (mm) for the C.A.B.
  10. The C.A.B. M does not feature MIDI inputs or foot-switches

What are the Similarities?

  1. It is the same firmware that operates across both pedals and the same functions are available (including power amp emulation, DynIR Cabinet Miking, EQ and Reverb)
  2. They both work in the same way with the Torpedo Remote Software
