Torpedo Reload II | Connectivity and Powering On Procedure
To ensure safe and reliable operation of your Reload II, please follow the steps below when connecting and powering on your system. Incorrect powering on or connection sequences can result in damage to your amplifier or cabinet.
Step-by-Step Power On Procedure
- Ensure Reload II is Powered OFF and any connected Amplifier or Line Level source is powered off
- Connect Your Cabinet(s) into CAB OUT A and/or B on Reload II.
- Important: Never hot-plug a cabinet. Connect or disconnect cabinets only when Reload II is powered off to prevent potential damage to Reload II’s internal power amplifier.
- Connect the speaker output of your amplifier to the AMP IN on the Reload II; ensure the impedance setting on Reload II matches the impedance rating of the output tap on your amplifier
- Ensure the CAB and OUTPUT volume controls on the front face of Reload II are set to their minimum position
- Once all connections are securely in place, switch Reload II ON.
- Finally, power on your amplifier or connected line level source.
Some Other Considerations to Bear in Mind
- Always double-check all connections before powering on any equipment.
- When shutting down, follow the reverse the order: amplifier off first, then Reload II
