The Ideal Setup Configuration When Using Capture Studio

The Ideal Setup Configuration When Using Capture Studio

To perform an accurate capture, your setup must include the following signal chain:

Audio Interface Output → Reamp Box → Amplifier Input → Amplifier Output → Loadbox / DI → Audio Interface Input

You will need:

  • An audio interface with at least one output and one input
  • A reamp box to correctly feed the amplifier input
  • A loadbox with a DI output rated for your amplifier (for safe signal return)
  • Appropriate cabling (instrument, speaker, and line cables as required).

The reamp box ensures the amplifier receives the correct signal type. The loadbox / DI ensures the amplifier can be operated safely while providing a usable output to your interface.

Once connected, verify routing, confirm levels, and ensure the signal path is clean before starting capture.
