Powering Opus With a 3rd Party Pedalboard Power Supply

Powering Opus With a 3rd Party Pedalboard Power Supply

Out-the-box, OPUS includes a grounded power supply that we have deemed necessary for optimum performance. For users seeking to power OPUS with a conventional 3rd-party power supply, the following grounded-power supplies are recommended:

  • Voodoo Lab 2+
  • Voodoo Lab iso5
  • Cioks DC7
  • Cioks SOL
  • Truetone CS7

When connecting OPUS to one of the aforementioned 3rd-party power supplies, please ensure a suitable output tap is used corresponding to the designated power requirements of OPUS:

  • Connector: 2.1mm x 5.5mm
  • Polarity: Center negative
  • Voltage: 12V DC
  • Current: 200mA

Top Tip: Not using a grounded power supply can result in additional noise induction into the OPUS architecture; as such, we always recommend using a grounded power supply.
