No RIG Presets Available in GENOME When Using macOS

When using GENOME on macOS, in rare instances all RIG & FX presets, CODEX models and/or 3rd party IRs may disappear from GENOME’s interface. The following possible reasons may serve as the root cause for this issue:

  • iCloud Sync is enabled on the host computer

  • The host computer’s hard drive nearing capacity resulting in iCloud automatically backing up the Documents folder to the cloud, subsequently removing the folder from the host machine’s hard drive

Please follow the steps below to restore the RIGs on your host machine and - by extension - GENOME:

  • In iCloud, navigate to the Two notes Audio Engineering folder

  • The cloud symbol next to the folder names indicates the folders are stored on iCloud, and not on your computer’s hard drive

  • Right click on the Two notes Audio Engineering folder and select “Download Now”

  • The folder will download to your computer in the folder entitled “Documents”. Once the download is complete, the RIGs and FX presets will be available/visible in GENOME
