MIDI Mapping in Revv® Amps

MIDI Mapping in Revv® Amps

Revv®’s Alpha and Pro amp range ship with Two notes Torpedo processing inside the amp. These amps feature MIDI connectivity for enhanced control of the on-board Torpedo-powered effects when using a MIDI controller.

For Alpha amps (D20, D40, G20, and D25), the Control Change (CC) MIDI mapping is the same for each amp.

The owner’s manual of the D20 details a comprehensive chart of CC commands (from page 17 onwards): https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0549/5852/2550/files/Revv-D20-Manual-2019.pdf?v=1685034180

For the Pro amp series, the Control Change (CC) MIDI mapping is detailed in the relevant Revv’s owner manual:

  1. For the G120 (from page 18 onwards): https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0549/5852/2550/files/REVV-GENERATOR-120-MK3-MANUAL.pdf?v=1685034212
  2. For the G100 (from page 18 onwards):https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0549/5852/2550/files/REVV-GENERATOR-100P-MK3-MANUAL.pdf?v=1685034212
  3. The G50 will have a similar mapping as the G120 and the G100.

Note: when using the Pro amp series, it is only possible to turn on and off dedicated sections of the Torpedo through CC commands.
