Uninstalling GENOME from your system

Is there an Upgrade available from GENOME Intro (Desktop and iOS) to GENOME or GENOME Suite (Desktop or iOS)

No. There is no upgrade path from GENOME Intro to GENOME or GENOME Suite.

How it works

  • GENOME Intro is a free entry point into the GENOME ecosystem.
  • To access GENOME or GENOME Suite, you will need to purchase the version you want — these are separate products and not upgrades from GENOME Intro.

Desktop and iOS purchases

GENOME is available on both Desktop and iOS, but purchases are platform-specific:
  • Purchasing GENOME Desktop or GENOME Suite Desktop applies to Desktop only
  • Purchasing GENOME iOS or GENOME Suite iOS applies to iOS only
  • Purchasing on one platform does not unlock the other.

Using GENOME across Desktop and iOS

To use the same GENOME version across both platforms, you will need an Access Pass. An Access Pass enables cross-platform use of:

  • Your GENOME license
  • Your eligible purchases

Do I need to purchase GENOME?

No. You can continue to use GENOME Intro (Free) with its included stock components. Purchasing GENOME or GENOME Suite is optional and provides:

  • Access to a larger stock component arsenal
  • Additional features (e.g. PARADEX, Global Transpose)
  • Full access to non-FairTone and non-Artist-Series premium components (GENOME Suite)
