As GENOME is a plugin application, you will need to have the following studio peripherals available to integrate Captor into a GENOME-centric workflow
For real-time playback, configuring your audio settings within your DAW is paramount:
Connect Captor’s ¼-inch Line or XLR output into your audio interface. Create an audio track in your DAW and configure its input and output routing in accordance with the input and output specifications of your interface. Load Genome on the audio track to apply the plugin's effects.
In this setup, CAPTOR sends the full amp signal to GENOME, through the DI (XLR) output of the Torpedo, with the SPKR SIM switch on GTR or BASS. For best tonal results, do not use the following COMPONENTS in GENOME:
You can then use GENOME’s suite of Post FX to build on your tone, and use GENOME’s dual lane routing options to create stereo Post FX rigs.
In this setup, Captor is providing the foundation tone from the amp signal.
