How to Upgrade your C.A.B. M to the C.A.B. M+

Two notes has released a major upgrade for Torpedo C.A.B. M in order to update it to the Torpedo C.A.B. M+ specifications.

Here is the procedure to upgrade your pedal.

  1. Install the latest version of Torpedo Remote (5.3.0)
    1. macOS: Torpedo Remote v5 - Mac OSX 10.9+ Version 5.3.0 (50 MB)
    2. Windows: Torpedo Remote v5 - Windows x64 Version 5.3.0 (50 MB)
    3. Windows:  Torpedo Remote v5 - Windows x86 Version 5.3.0 (50 MB)
  2. The following error message may show up on your screen:

  1. Please note, it is not possible to install the new Torpedo Remote when one instance of Torpedo Remote is already opened - to rectify this error message close the software, and launch the installation again
  2. Connect your Torpedo C.A.B. M to your computer and note that the firmware upgrade is only accessible if your pedal is registered to your account. The following window will open, informing you of the new firmware. Click Yes to start the process

  1. You will then see a warning about your current presets being changed in terms of their sound / tonality - as such, we encourage you to do a backup of your pedal

  1. You will receive one final confirmation message to confirm you wish to do the upgrade - once accepted, the upgrade will start
