This procedure describes how to restore the factory settings (i.e. perform a factory reset) of Torpedo Captor X, OPUS, C.A.B. M, C.A.B M+, Studio, Live or C.A.B. This procedure does not apply to the Torpedo Reload, ReVolt Guitar, ReVolt Bass or Captor.

To action a factory reset, first install the Torpedo Remote software which can be downloaded from this page on the Two notes Audio Engineering website.

Then, register the unit to your Two notes account. For this, simply follow the instructions when you first launch Remote with your Torpedo device connected via USB.

When the unit is registered, navigate to the "Firmware" menu of Remote, and select "Factory Reset". A pop-up window will open to explain what will be actioned via the factory reset. Select "Yes" to launch the factory reset.

A factory reset can take up to 10 minutes depending on the number of DynIR Virtual Cabinets that need to be reinstalled.
