How to load the Anniversary Cabinet Collection onto the Captor X SE?

Out-the-box, Captor X SE comes pre-loaded with a first-rate collection of 32 expertly curated vintage-inspired DynIR™ virtual cabinets from the likes of Two notes, Hop Pole, Black Bear, Diffusion Audio and Mirador. If that wasn't enough, users that register Captor X SE will have an additional 10 cabinets from the new-for-2023 Anniversary Edition Cabinet Collection added to their licence! Want to get these onto your Captor X SE? Read-on to find out how…

Step 1 | Register your Captor X SE

As a starting point, hookup your Captor X SE to your Desktop computer via the supplied USB cable and open Torpedo Remote. Then, either log-in if you have a Two notes account, or create a new account if you are new to the Two notes ecosystem. Once logged in/registered simply select to register the Captor X SE from the pop-up prompt.

Step 2 | Check your Email

Once registered you will receive a registration confirmation email for the Captor X SE, confirming that all bundled DynIR content has now been added to your Two notes account.

Step 3 | Reopen Torpedo Remote

Then, reopen Torpedo Remote and you should see an account update dialogue box confirming the additional cabinets that will be downloaded to your desktop computer. These are the Anniversary Edition DynIR virtual cabs! Wait for these to download and follow-on to Step 4.

Step 4 | Adding the Anniversary Edition DynIRs to your Captor X SE

In Torpedo Remote, navigate to the CABINET MANAGER tab to manage the Two notes Virtual Cabinets loaded onto the Captor X SE. The Left panel indicates the cabinets available on your computer. The right panel shows the Virtual Cabinets stored in the unit. The Captor X SE comes with its internal memory for Virtual Cabinets at full capacity with 32 DynIR cabinets already loaded. To import a cabinet from the Anniversary Edition Cabinet Collection that is stored in your computer to the unit, you will need to free space by unloading one or more cabinets located in the right panel. (Note: when removing cabinets, the DynIR is only removed from the Captor X SE; you will still have it within your Two notes license and can re import it at any time with Torpedo Remote). Drag and drop any cabinets from the left panel (your computer) to the right panel (the Captor X SE) for the import into Captor X SE, or alternatively click the load button to move the cabinet from the left panel to the right panel.
