Does the Torpedo Live Simulate an Amplifier?

Does the Torpedo Live Simulate an Amplifier?

The Torpedo Live is not an amp simulator. It is a speaker-cabinet and miking simulator.

It requires a guitar or a bass amplifier, allowing you to record that amplifier directly by simulating a cabinet and a microphone in a studio environment. It therefore simplifies the miking of any amplifier.
