Captor X | Intermittent Red LED Flash when Unit is Powered Off
When powered off, some users may notice Captor X’s Grille Indicator emitting an intermittent Red Flash. This is normal behaviour of the included power supply when connected to a power strip, and it is not something to worry about.
This behaviour occurs when cutting power on the power strip itself while the included power adapter remains connected to the Captor X. The capacitor inside Captor X is charged via the grounding of the power supply and associated power strip; this leads the unit to attempt to power on - without sufficient electricity to boot, Captor X shuts down and discharges the capacitor. This cycle can repeat providing the Captor X remains connected to the power strip via the included power supply.
Our advice: when not in use, disconnect the power adapter from Captor X.
